ATTENTION:
East 76th Street North road widening between Highway 169 and N 129th East Avenue is underway. Over the past month contractors have completed temporary road closures to install water line crossings. As the project moves forward, drivers/ citizens should expect additional temporary lane closures, temporary street entrance closures, and flagmen directing traffic throughout the remainder of the project. All drivers using this section of roadway should expect delays as construction continues. Alternative routes are advised to avoid delays as well as for the safety of drivers and for construction personnel.
City staff will continue to give notice of major closures; however, the pace of the project will not allow for every temporary closure or delay to be posted in a timely manner.
As with all projects, drivers and citizens get will become frustrated; however, we do ask for patience during this project.
