[ARCHIVED] Auto Burglary Suspect Arrested

On 06/15/2014, at 1339, Owasso Officers were dispatched to the 13200 Block of E 93 PL N in reference to a possible burglary in progress. A homeowner had reportedly returned home to find a tan Ford Ranger pickup at his residence. The garage door was open and a male suspect was loading lawn equipment into the pickup. When confronted by the homeowner, the suspect fled the area but the homeowner was able to record the license plate.
Officers located the suspect vehicle on Highway 169 near E 96 ST N and a traffic stop was conducted. Inside the pickup, officers recovered stolen property taken from several residences in the Coffee Creek area as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene after being identified by the homeowner as the same person he had seen inside his garage. A female passenger was released, but may face out of custody charges after a review of the case by the district attorney.
An investigation is ongoing to see if there is a connection between these suspects and a number of recent residential burglaries, which were referenced on the OPD Facebook page June 14th. The driver was identified as 22 year old Jacob Regouby of Tulsa, who was arrested for Burglary and Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property.
