Drug Uses
Zithromax is used for treatment of infections caused by certain bacteria. It may also be used for other situations as recommended by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Zithromax as determined by your physician. To clear up your infection completely, take Macrobid for the full course of treatment. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days. Failure to do so may decrease the effectiveness of this treatment and may increase the risk that the bacteria will no longer sensitive to Zithromax and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibacterial pills in the future.
More Information
Zithromax can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Zithromax is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Zithromax with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly negative tasks until you know how you respond to this pill. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your physician. This product should be used only by the patient for whom it has been determined. Don't take less or more or use it more often than recommended by your physician.
