96th Street Road Repairs: Weather permitting, starting May 17, 2013, the northern most lane of west bound traffic on 96th St will be closed to make repairs on infrastructure between Tulsa Teacher Credit Union and Garnett. Drivers should use caution as construction equipment and crews will be working in and near roadway. Work will be ongoing for approximately two weeks until repairs are completed. Please contact Earl Farris at Public Works if you have questions or concerns. 918-272-4959

 

RAILROAD REPAIR - SK&O railroad has encountered issues in making repairs to a railroad crossing just south of E 106 St N on Mingo Road. The repairs are expected to be completed and the area open to traffic Wednesday afternoon.

 

ROAD REPAIR: Starting Monday May 13th, E 87 St North between Cedar St and Garnett will be closed to traffic to begin repairs, through the 2012-2013 street rehabilitation project. The mail drop box will NOT be accessible by car off of E 87th during repairs. Weather permitting E 87th St North should re open by Saturday May 18th.

Owasso Police Explorers

Owasso Police Explorers program is aimed at young men and women ages 14 - 20, who are interested in learning more about a law enforcement career. For more information on the program, contact Officer Ben Wolery.

National Police Memorial Day

Officer Jonathan Foyil, Owasso Police Department had the honorable distinction of singing the National Anthem at the National Police Memorial Service in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, May 15. Click here to view video of his performance.
