Licenses and Permits

The City of Owasso issues licenses and permits to individuals or businesses engaging in the following activities or businesses.

Businesses and individuals seeking information on development-related permitting should visit the Community Development website for information on required processes.

Solicitors

The licensing of Door-to-Door and other Mobile Solicitors is governed by Part 9, Licensing and Business Regulations, Chapter 1, Solicitors of the Owasso City Code. All for profit businesses and individuals wishing to solicit within the city limits of Owasso must submit an Application for Solicitor License, along with the required fee, prior to engaging in solicitation within the city limits. Non-profit organizations engaged in soliciting must notify the City of the details and dates of their solicitation by contacting Julie Stevens and outlining the dates and details of the solicitation. The following table outlines the fee schedule for Solicitors:

Mobile Food Vendors

The licensing of Mobile Food Vendors is governed by Part 9, Licensing and Business Regulations, Chapter 3, Mobile Food Vendors of the Owasso City Code. All businesses and individuals wishing to engage in mobile food vending within the city limits of Owasso must submit an Application for Mobile Food Vending License, along with the required fee, prior to engaging in mobile food vending within the city limits. * Mobile Food Vending may require approval by the Owasso Board of Adjustment, please review Chapter 3 of the City Code for additional information. The following table outlines the fee schedule for Mobile Food Vendors:

Sale and Serving of Alcohol and 3.2 Beer

The licensing of businesses who wish to sale and/or serve alcohol and/or 3.2 beer is governed by Part 9, Chapter 5, License for the Sale and Serving of Alcohol and 3.2 Beer of the Owasso City Code. All businesses wishing to sale or serve alcohol or 3.2 beer must submit an Application for the Sale and/or Serving of Alcohol and 3.2 Beer, along with the required fee, prior to engaging in the sale and/or serving of alcohol and 3.2 beer. The following table outlines the fee schedule for Alcohol and 3.2 Beer licensing.
