BARKtoberfest

October is 'Adopt a Shelter Dog' month. To celebrate this event, the Owasso Animal Shelter announces this year's BARKtoberfest is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. The location for the event will be at Tyann Plaza located at 9455 North Owasso Expressway in Owasso.

This annnual event in our community is held to bring awareness to the number of wonderful pets that are available for adoption at the Owasso Animal Shelter.

SAHO will be offering $15 microchips from 2:00-4:00 pm, and Strathe Vet will be offering low cost vaccinations; $5 Rabies, $5 Bordetella, $5 deworming, & $10 DHPPL4 from 2:00-4:00 pm. All dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash.
