October is 'Adopt a Shelter Dog' month. To celebrate this event, the Owasso Animal Shelter, Southern Agriculture, and Partnering for Pets, Inc. have joined forces to host an event in our community to bring awareness to the number of wonderful pets that are available for adoption at the Owasso Animal Shelter.

This year's event was held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 11:00am until 5:00pm. The location for BARKtoberfest was at the Southern Agriculture store located at 9255 North Owasso Expressway in Owasso.
