Neighbor Sign Topper Program
The purpose of the Sign Topper Program is to:
Eligibility Neighborhood or Homeowner associations that are registered with the Owasso Strong Neighborhood Program; whose name and boundaries are unlikely to change, whose name is formally established and widely accepted by residents, and whose boundaries do not infringe on other neighborhood boundaries; are eligible to take part in the Sign Topper Program. Program Guidelines Neighborhood Associations that want to participate in the Sign Topper Program must submit an Order Form to the City's Neighborhood Coordinator including information identifying where the toppers will be installed and names of all streets. Once the applications is approved and payment is received, the City will order the sign(s) and schedule the installation. The City of Owasso reserves the right to refuse approval for any reason. Design/Manufacturing Guidelines In order to maintain consistency and suitability of neighborhood signage, specific design standards have been established. Sign pricing is based on one (1) double-sided sign with one (1) bracket per location. Costs are subject to change due to vendor agreements with the City. All costs for sign(s) and installation are the responsibility of the Neighborhood Association. Installation Guidelines Only the City’s Public Works Department is authorized to install neighborhood sign toppers. Sign Installation will be completed as staff time and resources permit. Maintenance Guidelines Only the City’s Public Works Department is authorized to remove, repair or replace sign toppers. The City of Owasso reserves the right to remove any sign topper that has become unsightly without replacing the sign. The cost for replacement of signs will be the responsiblity of the Neighborhood Association. Street Sign Topper Order Form
