Owasso CARES is a program developed through the Strong Neighborhood Initiative that is led by a team of neighborhood leaders with the idea of bringing residents, volunteers and city staff together in a private-public partnership to make a positive impact in our neighborhoods and community.
Owasso CARES kickoff event was in September, 2010 and has grown into an biannual event.
There have been nearly 500 volunteers who participated in various projects to clean-up neighborhood areas.
