Owasso CARES is a program developed through the Strong Neighborhood Initiative that is led by a committee of resident volunteers with the idea of bringing residents, volunteers and city staff together in a private-public partnership to make a positive impact in our neighborhoods and community. Volunteers trash pickup

Owasso CARES kickoff event was in September, 2010 and has grown into an biannual event.

In 2011, there were nearly 200 volunteers who participated invarious projects to clean-up neighborhood areas.
