Employee Of The Quarter

Each quarter the City recognizes the contribution an outstanding employee makes to the organization.

2nd Quarter 2012

Jessica Henry

Jessica has been with the City of Owasso since January of 2009.  She was first hired as a Intern for the Economic Development Department in which she quickly transitioned into a full time Economic Support position.  She transferred to the Police Department as a Communications Officer in July of 2010.  She is supported in her endeavors with the City by her parents Mike and Vicky Henry, brother Mike Henry Jr. and family, close friend and roommate Rachel Berryhill, and co-workers Chelsea Harkins, Bill Allen and Rebecca Wileman.

When asked what she enjoys most about her work at the City she states:
"The thing I enjoy most about working at the City of Owasso is the connection I have with my co-workers.  It is much like working with your fmaily, even the sibling rivalries.  Our job can be very serious and very difficult at times and yet we still try to have fun and support one another as we try to make the City of Owasso a safer place for us to live, work and play."

1st Quarter 2012

Earl Farris

Earl has been with the City of Owasso since July of 2006.  He was first hired as a Utility Worker and then quickly promoted to Wastewater Collection Supervisor in May of 2009.  He is supported in his endeavors with the City by  his only child Jamison. 

When asked what he enjoys most about his work at the City he states, “I enjoy working as a public servant and working to better the lives of the citizens of Owasso. I also enjoy working in a job in which I am surrounded by people from top to bottom whom I consider my extended family."
