If you've ever seen the lists in "Most Livable Cities" type articles, there are many factors that are considered. Things like, schools, availability of health care, shopping, entertainment, parks and trails, safety, public transit, and other factors. These factors are not only the things a new resident takes into consideration when deciding where to live, but are also taken seriously by corporations when relocating a business. Owasso has many advantages over other cities in our region, but improvements are needed to attract quality jobs.
Retail shopping and restaurants are now abundant in Owasso. It is time to turn attention to job creation so that residents can live, work, and play in Owasso, in order to complete the creation of a full service community.
Please provide comments on amenities you think would help Owasso attract, not only residents, but businesses that could bring quality jobs to our community.
